Singapore Transportation Guide – International Airports
Singapore has one of the largest and busiest airports in the world, Singapore Changi Airport (SIN). This airport is the main entry and exit point for travelers visiting Singapore, and is located about 20 kilometers northeast of the city center.
Singapore Changi Airport has three passenger terminals and a fourth under construction, expected to be completed in 2030. In addition to commercial airlines, the airport also serves as an operations center for the Singapore Air Force and business aviation. .

National Airports

Singapore Transportation Guide – Trains
Singapore has a modern and efficient train system called MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) that covers much of the island. It is a popular form of transportation for residents and tourists as it is fast, reliable and comfortable.
The MRT has five main lines: North-South, East-West, Circle, Downtown and Thomson-East Coast. These lines connect many popular areas in Singapore such as City Centre, Orchard Road, Marina Bay, Chinatown, Little India and more.
The trains in Singapore are clean, safe and easy to use. Trains arrive frequently, and waiting times between trains are short. Train times vary, but generally run from 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. until midnight every day.
To use the MRT, passengers must purchase a transit card called EZ-Link or a tourist transit card. These cards can be purchased at MRT stations and convenience stores throughout Singapore. The fare is calculated based on the distance traveled on the train, and the price is automatically deducted from the card.
In addition to the MRT, Singapore also has a commuter rail network called LRT (Light Rail Transit) that covers smaller, less traveled areas in Singapore. The LRT also uses the EZ-Link card for payment.

Bus schedules vary depending on the route, but in general, city buses operate from 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. until midnight, while night buses operate from midnight until 6:00 a.m. City buses arrive frequently, and wait times are generally short.
In addition to regular city buses, Singapore also has a fleet of tourist buses that are used for sightseeing tours. These buses offer a panoramic view of Singapore’s main attractions and allow tourists to hop on and off at different locations along the route.
